The Jefferson Symphony invites you to our 2022/2023 season of concerts at the Green Center. As we continue our 70th year of performances, we want to share our music with the students, faculty, and staff of the Colorado School of Mines.

Scott O'Neil, conductor
Acclaimed conductor Scott O’Neil has a decorated career as former resident conductor of the Colorado Symphony, the Utah Symphony, and many more around the U.S. Known to many as a contributor to 'Behind the Baton' on CPR Classical, he has also collaborated with classical artists Van Cliburn, Itzhak Perlman, Joshua Bell, and Lang Lang.
Hans-Derek Yu, piano
Our 2023 Young Artist, Hans-Derek Yu, has competed nationally and internationally, and recently won first prizes at the Osaka and the Chopin international competitions.

For seventy years, the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra has made music thousands of people in and around Jefferson County have enjoyed. What motivates our ensemble also motivates those who attend — a love of great music. Our symphony series and edcational programs add a new dimension of awareness, enrichment, and engagement to music-loving audiences.

The Green Center is a unique building on Colorado School of Mines campus and serves the area as both a community events center and as a campus event facility. As the largest auditorium in Jefferson County, the Green Center seats 1,100 patrons in traditional fully upholstered retracting theater seats.
